Our international impact focuses on Mexico, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates, where we foster flag football, connect youth to STEAM education resources, and strengthen communities through the power of sports. As the 49ers newest International, the 49ers Foundation is excited to build our impact from the ground up. With the first ever coaches clinic in Dubai, the 49ers Foundation is working with IDEC to create more opportunities for their students using the sport of American Football.

Leeds, U.K.
Football is for everyone; not just on matchday, but out in the community as well. Leeds United and the 49ers are leading a first-of-its-kind partnership to educate and empower Leeds youth through sport. The program, Unlocking Potential, addresses barriers to sport, education, and opportunity for marginalized youth. In our first year, we’ve already impacted over 1,200 Leeds children, many of whom come from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

Mexico City, MX
The 49ers have played two international games in Mexico City against the Cardinals. As our closest international market and large Latino fanbase, we are eager to support Flag football efforts and drive meaningful participation with the game and STEAM concepts. The Foundation has supported over 5 different activations in Mexico City, Los Cabos and Monterrey in the past 3 years
